Why should I write about your product / Company? 6

This is a follow-up to my earlier post Not just looking for the IPAD

Day 2 of the Enterprise Conference Boston went a lot better. I started my conversations with vendors by stating I was a Blogger and asked my question “Why should I write about your product / Company?” .

Why the change?

I did revisit a couple booths from the previous day and it was like night and day. I can’t say exactly what the cause for the change in some of the vendors towards me. People do react differently on any given day.

I talked with just about every vendor booth at the conference during the 2 days that I personally attended. From my conversations I have some new stuff to research, try and then write about over the next couple months.

Honorable mentions!

While all the vendors were great the following stood out from all others. Listed in no particular order.

Microsoft Sharepoint- The ladies, they were giving away flying pigs! (I did try to get Maura to agree to something if pigs flew then shot one across the room)

BroadVision- Yasean Lee was very personable and we kept a great conversation, not only about social media stuff but video games as well. This conversation actually inspired a future blog post.

LeverageSoftware– Patrick Stanton was nice, he actually hooked me up with 2 shirts for my daughters. Patrick was hesitant at first but my persistance scored 2 shirts. When I went and told him my girls loved the shirts and slept in them, it was all high fives from there!

Oxygen Cloud– Julia Mak was a good spirit both times that I spoke with her. I am interested in seeing this companies product and compare it in the future.

< GX > Software– Sophie Dahn & EJ Melzer were both great! Sophie had me chuckling and EJ was very knolwedgable answering all my questions.

WIIKno– Diego Larrea-Puemape & Tim Nguyen were my favorites out of all the vendors. I know it’s not right to have favorites but Mr. Nguyen on day 1 went above what he had to by entering my information as on day 1 I didn’t have a bussiness card to enter for their raffle. Mr. Larrea-Puemape & Nguyen were both very knowledgable on there solutions. I will definately be doing a post on Enterprise 2.0 University.

I also need to thank the Staff that many don’t thank that makes these conferences go on without a hitch!
